The Mental Health Association in Tompkins County (MHATC) is offering a free, confidential, 12-session Male Survivor Support Group for a winter/spring series starting on Jan. 26, 2026. Mike Koplinka-Loehr, a leader in local male survivor community and founder of THRIVE, will co-facilitate the group with a male staff member from the Mental Health Association.

The group provides a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for adult, non-offending male survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, practice self-care tools, and strengthen their sense of community among others who truly understand their journeys.

The group is free of charge and facilitated by peers who are survivors themselves and experienced in supporting others through trauma-informed approaches.
