Question psychologist
Yesterday I had my first appointment with a psychiatrist. The goal is to get mood stabilized with medication's that also work well with my Parkinsonism meds. We talked awhile and I had arranged so she could speak with both my neurologist and therapist before our appointment. I felt it went well and at this point she added a medication to try and counter my compulsiveness caused be a Parkinsonism medication I’m on.
To my question, during the appointment she kept talking about a treatment. I don’t recall what she called it . They use “I think” like sonic waves or something , on your head . I believe she said everyday, once a day for I think a month. Has anyone had this procedure? How did it work?
She said it helped flashbacks, panic attacks, and the such. Peace and good answers mojo’s. Billy
