one moment to collect my thougts
without being shoved into the ground

one nice thing said to me today
as I walk on this earth

safer than I do now

one person just being nice
and making me smile

One friend who I can count on
to be there when I need them,

the ability to help at least one
other human hurt like me

one may be a small number,
but one small thing may just

my gift is healing me and helping others to heal

and being able to smile and watch others smile back even when a smile might not appear

it is that moment when the smile is needed most

It starts with one kind gesture
one moment of kindness

one moment to collect my thougts
as I smile back at you

one place where you feel

this is an awesome piece, and a great reminder not only to keep an eye out for one positive person, place or thing in each day to bring a positive ray of light, but also that it doesnt take much to be a ray in someone else life as well.

What a cool observation, and you are so right. So often all it takes is for ONE person to reach out.

I had many who reached out when I first came here, but yes, there was one in particular. This is just a reminder to him that I remember him and will always be grateful.
