blots
driving home tonight the oncoming headlights reminded me of something. I've written before about a time in my life when i was alone in the dark for 2 weeks not eating or drinking water. there was an ominous shadow figure that slowly crept from the corner of the room to bedside over days. i spent some time outside my body looking down at myself or from a corner of the room watching, sometimes i left that place and a great deal of time in my body enduring the pain that was my entire body. until my heart stopped and the ball of light floated out from my low chest then burst apart and wisped back into my body followed by a massive thud in my chest and i came gasping back.
the following moments when i was able to get on staggering feet crashing into walls for support i left the room to see a lightbulb. the light stabbed into my eyes almost in slowed time as these thin spears of spiraling light blinded me. it had been the first light i had seen in some time.. a sort of cave dweller syndrome, i dont know what to call it really.
for years i had these huge sploches of blindness in the center of my vision. only able to see the edges around anywhere i looked. i avoided light for years after as it worsened the condition.
that started 15 years ago. my vision has been good for years now and tonight i was remembering as headlights passed me and i have no black blots in my vision.
i know it's an unusual question but have you or anyone you know/heard of experienced similar?
i never have luck looking for things relating to my experience. for example the phenomena i smell fear in dogs that smelt of feces and blood and just foul, then a time in chat couple years back a friend looked it up as i described and immediately found that dogs indeed have a gland in their rectum that sprays a foul odor when they are frightened/stressed and not many people can smell it.
