I've been journaling my progress or at least thoughts that come to mind, and after going back and reading the themes of my posts, I can spot change. I meditate before bed so I can overcome insomnia, and I keep a notebook by my desk and sometimes with me to work for random thoughts about recovery or things I want to do. My rantings used to be very dark, and when I reread them I recall those fears/hate/anger, but I also feel like I've moved past most of that, or maybe into a next phase in some cases. I love that I feel confident enough to examine my feelings and that they deserve to be written.
