Why do they cry!

Yeah,

its hard for me to cry but this did it.
This is about my friends brother who died tragically.
It brings home, just how fragile life can be.

I cannot imagine how much hurt she went through, for her to outlive her sibling brother.
She is a beautiful woman with a fantastic family.
It somehow makes her, who she is today.

I guess it shows us how valuable life is, and how we should try and live it the best we can,

That's it, I think. We get so busy with the daily trivia of life that we forget how precious each day is.

"Carpe diem" goes back to the Roman poet Horace, by the way (my rather free translation):

As we strive to put words right,
Envious time sets off in flight.
So seize the day and make it sing,
For who knows what our futures bring.

And yes, "The Dead Poets' Society" is one of my all-time favorite films.
