Still doing the washing up after Christmas ?

Dave ( keeping my head down :D )

Yeah, so's my wife !

Dave :p  :D

Christmas was strangely difficult, yet happy for me. Not sure what made part of the feeling so difficult, but I had fun helping kids with toys. I had somewhat less fun trying to find the presents I have purchased, hid, and forgotten in the last several months, though.

I guess it's ok. They'll turn up sometime and we'll laugh about it again. "What could I have been thinking when I hid that here? How did I ever expect that I would find it again?" There was only a brief period of mild panic when I could not find the 4 year old's present to his older brother. I looked in all my "finding places" ('cause I can't keep track of hiding places!) but eventually found it back in the 4 year old's room. I'm actually proud of the foresight when I hid that one.

It does make for a very Merry Arbor Day, or a Happy Equinox, when presents turn up later! And I found presents from last spring (that I think were supposed to be Easter presents) that I managed to give last week. Perhaps there is a method to my madness, eh? :D

Joe you're hilarious!

I thought I was the only one with the "great hiding place dilemma"! I feel so "understood"!!!

It worked out for me this year though, I just didn't shop so early!

Other than that, it's been interesting around here. I'll elaborate later, when I can.

Hugs,

Lynn

PS...hey I like that...happy equinox!

If you shop late Christmas Eve you don't need to hide anything ! :D

Dave

It's nice to know we're missed... :D :D

I am going to start hiding presents for myself and my family and forget where I put them! what a lot of fun!

of course this will backfire and be attributed to my really terrible lack of "washing up" skills ;) ... the clothes and toys I had put aside for goodwill before christmas are still in plastic bags in my living room...
