What resources have helped you?


When processing trauma and abuse, or processing the complex feelings that go along with discovering and feeling at home in your gender, what resources or kinds of resources have helped you?

Did you find support groups helpful? Buying or being gifted affirming objects or clothing? Online spaces like these? Informal groups of friends? LGBTQ community centers? Crisis hotlines or chat lines? Traditional therapy?

Conversely, are there any resources or kinds of resources that didn't fit your needs, either as a trans person or as a survivor?
