I THINK THAT I HAVE FOUND THE SOB THAT RAPED ME . PART OF ME WANTS TO KILL HIM . BUT LOGICLY THAT IS NOT PRACTIAL . THIS RAPE HAPPENED IN 1977 WHILE I WAS IN THE ARMY . WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE HIM PAY FOR WHAT HE DID . I HAVE RELIVED THE RAPE IN NITE MARES FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS . AND THE ANGER THAT I HAVE TWARDS HIM IS SOMETIMES MORE THAN I CAN STAND . I WANT HIM TO PAY FOR THE HELL THAT I HAVE HAD IN MY MIND FOR ALL OF THEASE YEARS . DO I HAVE A LEAGLE RECORSE ?
HOW CAN I VERIFY THAT I HAVE THE RITE SFC ERNEST HERNANDEZ WITHOUT DIRECT CONTACT ?

Mike, please read the rules on confrontation.
You have him in your sights like a frightened animal, and you need to know how best to deal with the situation.

I live in the UK where there is 'no' statute of limitation on bringing hisrorical cases to court.
You need someone in the states to guide you, but stay calm,

i don't know the specifics but the internet is a really good resource for finding info on people. maybe if you do some searches you can find a picture of him or more info that would make you sure he is who you think he is.

i don't have any advice for the actual confrontation though, sorry. i have never dealt with that.

I BELIEVE THAT HE IS IN HOUSTON OR SAN ANTOANO TX

Michael,

The best advice on confrontation I could give would be to as Ste said "stay calm". It's important to make sure you feel safe and stable enough when you confront him so your not fighting with a paper bag over your head. There are some very good books out there that can help you with confrontations like this. They helped me immensely.

Good luck, your not alone!

Don't allow the past to cloud your present judgement. I would think at this point there are far too many questions left unanswered to go charging on at full steam. A place to start could be something like this:

1. Confirm it is actually him. If you find contact information, have a friend call to make the confirmation etc.

2. Research your rights from the legal perspective so that your actions won't deny you the full course you might be eligible for.
