What activities bring you peace/connect you to yourself?


Music? Art? Connecting with nature? Playing with an animal? Taking a long drive?

Or maybe it's not an activity that comes to mind, but an object or a place-- I'd be glad to hear about those, too.

Playing with my daughter, running or swimming, being out in nature whether alone or with my family, sleeping with my wife
Walking in nature, either alone or with a friend. Talking with friends who are aware that I'm working with trauma related issues. I don't need to unpack it all for them, but when I don't have to pretend every moment, I can relax. I also enjoy creative activities that allow me to apply myself in the moment.
