Went to my first board meeting...

A quick thumbs-up:

I went to my first board meeting for the gay center where I live to volunteer some of my time, if they can conjure up some old shovels for this old hack.

Met an old friend (female) who I used to bike ride with many years ago. I lit up when she walked in the room; I was so relieved 'cause I was really scared to try and think of doing this all by myself.

I'll probably try to help them gain visibility, do a little Access programming, some page layout, steal a few jobs, take a few others...

I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.
