We Won't Let You

We Won't Let You

He claimed to wear vestments; he came oozing charm.
If you gave him your finger, he took your whole arm.
He chatted and posted and clicked “start conversation”
And lied time and again without reservation.

I can understand having more than one pair of shoes,
But having more than one profile is really bad news.
He wanted to be “all things to all men”
And towards that goal lied again and again.

There was nothing too rare for him to not have a connection
But this twisted old liar could not evade all detection.
A bit too much charm made some wonder a bit
But the photo debacle was when it really did hit.

His carefully built up façade started to crumble
And murmurs of suspicion became a loud rumble.
Additional profiles emerged; one, two, three –
And a feeling of fright descends upon me.

Who can be trusted?! Who is real? Who’s fake?
I feel all anxious, afraid, and I start to shake…
But we can’t let him feed off the chaos he sows,
And why he so craves it, nobody knows,

But it’s twisted and ghoulish, depraved, and unkind;
Clearly the product of a very sick mind.
He may come back, we all know it could be,
But fellow survivors, won’t you join me
In taking back MS, our place to be?
If we allow the chaos to overturn our safe places,
The twisted old liar can gloat in our faces.

#Perfect!

Fitz very well said, hang in there I believe in the core mission here to help men who come on seeking answers.

You voiced my very thoughts ... if we lose trust and faith ... we lose everything ...
and f***ing bastards like him win.

Excellent excellent poem Fitz
