Bravo my friend ... our collective motto can be nothing less than ...
"I will not give up!"

2 more good ones, V!

dear Mishka95673,

i am not so gentle, man,
and neither is my poetry, sometimes.
in truth, some of the poems i've written have been published,
as lyrics, in songs. i was part of many teams.
all we did was add melody and music to the message.
i commercially recorded and released over fifty tunes.
most of what i have posted here on my MS.ORG POEMS page
is recent and more decent.

i was blocked for many years, but it seems my muse has returned.
spontaneous verse has given me much joy,
but i also savour the poems that require assembly, like puzzles.
sometimes the rhymes just roll, like lucky dice.
sometimes i have to break a word to make it fit where it belongs.
writing is risky sport.
there is blood in my ink.

[font:Times New Roman]If a man comes to the door of poetry untouched by the madness of the Muses,
believing that technique alone will make him a good poet,
he and his sane compositions never reach perfection,
but are utterly eclipsed by the performances of the inspired madman.

lol Mishka ...

For me to express myself in 2 short sentences is worthy of my being canonized!
I am easily in the top few here incapable of brevity.
My poems and responses are notoriously long ... and often boring as hell.
So ... if you want to write a book you'd better plan on 2 ...
One for me ... and one including everybody else.
:P

"All poets write bad poetry.
Bad poets publish them, good poets burn them."
~ Umberto Eco

"There is a poem called 'Loss' carved into the stone.
It has three words, but the poet has scratched them out.
You cannot read loss, only feel it.
