Veterans Day thoughts.
Texas holiday greetings, my fraternal brothers/friends.
Here we are in celebrating Veterans day. And as usual my thoughts turn inward to that young boy whom had these words seared into his mind, body & soul by his "mom."............
You are worthless, useless & will never amount to anything.
I lived those words for most of my adult life. There are two days in the month of November where I let a ghost run my life.
Her voices telling me that those words & having those visions of her repeating them.
For the second time in my life, I will celebrate a holiday in honoring Those American boys whom had served their country.
A holiday in my honor......................................
so "mom" I had proved you dead wrong & your ghost will not ruin my day.
Wishing all my brothers/sisters whom had served in the military a great & proud Veterans day. Celebrate OUR holiday.
"I will take that lost boys hand, and lead him from the depths of darkness, into the sunshine, forever into eternity."
As He is me.
