Sometimes life hinges on these
Very small things
A cigar
A breathing tube
A vial of blood
A van
A broken heart
A very small person
And his very small bag
Packed with his small clothes
A few small toys
One half of a very small blanket
Cut corner to corner
A photo
A book
A very small hug
A quiet I love you
A small signature
A short hallway
A tiny apartment

It's strange how something as big as life
Can stop and hold its breath over such small things
So tiny they are barely there

You remind us all here, that the small things in life, the simple things are the most powerful of all. Unfortunately most of these things get overlooked, and people then become disconnected and disjointed with their lives, when they ignore the small things.
