Well, I did it - for better or worse

I had posted some questions under the "How to Help My Friend" Topic - thank you all for your replies and advice. I thought and prayed about what I should do.

I sent an e-card yesterday to my friend, and included the URL for this site. I told him that I cared about him, and if he needed me to be silent and not bother him again - that I would

I know that he read it, because the e-card companies send you a notice when your card has been picked up. Now I just have to find the strength to be true to my word and leave him alone, unless "He" contacts " Me".

I hope and pray that he comes here, and that you all will make him welcome if he does. I would love to have his friendship back again, but I mostly just want him to heal.

Like I said before, you're a good friend. We all should have friends like you. I think that you're doing it just right. Saying what you have to, but then leaving it up to him. He's got to respect that, and, you.
