Time for an Outreach section?

Brothers and sisters (this is going on the F&F and membership boards as well),
The more I think about my own ideas about reaching out to those who want to understand the effects abuse has on us without having a direct interest in it, the more I think this idea makes sense. Namely, setting up an "Outreach" program.
Example, setting up an "Outreach" forum on the board, and a protocol for interested people to follow in order to give them the insight they need without either letting in exploitative/abusive people or inadvertently hurting those who NEED this site for healing and support.
The first part of this, after setting up the Board will be requiring these people to register, and allowing them EXTREMELY restricted access to posting and PM's. Namely, for the first 30 days, posting ONLY on the Outreach forum or PMing to SELECTED volunteers. During this probation period, they will also be required to read on the other forums and relevant information to give them a better idea of what's expected to them.
Secondly, assigning them a moderator "buddy," similar to how we do this with minors, in order to make sure they're following the rules set up for them and further guide them along the path of understanding.
Third, after the probationary period is over, allowing them access ONLY to the F&F, Off-Topic, Ask the Board, and Unmoderated forums, subject to all approrpriate bylaws.
Fourth, all priveledges would be suspended IMMEDIATELY if they violated the rules.
All of these things can be worked out. I'm simply opening the debate.
Thoughts?
Peace and love,
Scot
