OK this a copy of a letter I sent to the local papers. Last month my daughter and her best friend and her's friend little sister had a 21 yo man this man had been drinking and he put his hands on the girls and told them some things I will not repeat. We called the police and told the cop we wanted to press charges. Then we find out the City is droping all the charges but the public drunk. I cant believe they are just letting him walk away. What does someone have to do before they see how much danger he is? Well I've sent this letter to the paper. We will see.
Dear Editor,

I would like to point out what I feel is a miscarriage of the court system. Last month my daughter 16 and her best friend 15 and her little sister 11 were doing laundry at the laundry mat of your apartments when a man came in. This man is 21, he had been drinking. He proceeded with unwanted sexual advances and placed his hands on them. We called the police and told the office that we wanted to press charges. No one has contacted us about this or even tried to talk to my daughter or the other girls. We have found out that the city in there wisdom has decided to drop the charges. I cant believe this. The city had a chance to protect my child and they didnt. For what ever reason. Just what has to happen for the city to protect our children? Does this man, who has showed he has sexual interest in young girls, have to rape the next child. What is to come of the next girl he finds when hes drunk? I am asking the readers to help me. Send a post card to City Hall simply saying Protect Our Children. If they get enough then maybe the next man who thinks he can put his hands on our children will know that we will not put up with it.

Thanks James. Sending a simple card with the words: "protect our children." would be very powerful to pols if there are enough of them.

16, 15, and 11. There ought to be public protests in front of city hall. Ye gads!

But then again who the hell are we. Just survivors thats who. And goddammit we know abuse. So the poor little fuck is drunk. To EFFEN BAD. He did what he did.

Sometimes the authorities make me sick to my stomach. Did they bother to check to see if he has done this before or is he the son of someone people treat with defference.
Tell me where to send a post card and I will by.

Why dont you write an open letter to the Mayor in the local paper. That might shake some shit out of the trees. God I would even do that for you.
 
Open letter to the mayor. wow never thought of that. I have decided I am going to a city meeting and voice my discust with the way this was handled. It may to late for anything to be done for the my daughter nad her friends but maybe the next one will be protected. I have drafted a letter to the city aturney as well letting them know how I feel about this. By the time Im done they will know my name by heart and crenge when they hear it.

James Best of luck in your battle for justice. Maybe you should take your concerns to the State. Call the Anttory General and see if there is anything you can do to go around the city police. They have to do some thing about this man before he does more harm. Muldoon
 
Well got a call today from the paper I send the letter too. They are going to print my letter. We will see what happens next. Thanks

My guess is that he is probably related to someone or has some other connection to the police dept there. Something sure does smell fishy.

Hello James, I admire your standing up for the rights of the children you mentioned in your post. Please forward the address of city hall and the newspaper you mentioned, I will write a letter to each of them myself. I have 2 other friends who will also write letters of protest in how this was (NOT) handled! Let our voices be heard! My brother and myself were sexually abused as children, my self by an uncle and my brother by a family friend, a cop in uniform no less! We just revealed this abuse to one another last week after being silent for 38 and 42 years respectively. I could not speak up for myself forty plus years ago but I will gladly speak up now! Good luck to you in your efforts.
 
This is a copy of a letter I got in the mail today. It's in reply to my letter to the editor.

Dear James,
As per your request I am sending the enclosed post card (he sent me a post card with the letter) to the City of Great Falls Police Dept., City of Great Falls City Attorney, Cascade County Attorney, and Cascad County Sheriff. Too often children are powerless, voiceless, unprotected, neglected and without rights. Recently there have been published leter to the editor of hte Tribune complaining at the papers reporting at horrible abuse perpatrated against children and accusing the Tribune of harming children. The do not see that the harm is caused by preditors committing these acts of abuse not by the messenger exposing the perpatrators. The Tribune publishes photos, names, addresses and discriptions of perpatraters when they move into a spexific location, however, they do not publish large pictures or lists of all known preditors and thier locations or follow up on thier activities. I feel they should publish large photos of all known preditors in a mannor that makes them all easily recognized by everybody at all times.
My question is how many children will this predator rape?
I thank God that your daughte ahs a father who love her and will protect her. Too many children are denied there rigth to have a father like you.
If I can be of further assistance to you in your effert to "Protect Our Children" please let me know.

Ok thats the letter. Well I guess it's started. Thats one that I know of so far. I hope there are hundrends and hundreds more just like this guy. I'll try to find the address to City Hall. I tell you phone books here suck. Thank everyone for your support.
