I was just watching an oldish movie today, Good Will Hunting with Matt Damon. It wasnt about CSA however the main character was seeing a therapist and finally made a breakthrough at the end of his sessions. He came from an alcoholic family with physical abuse and felt no good as a person and so he acted tough and deliberately did stupid things trying to hide the pain inside. That I could relate to.

In this breakthrough moment in his therapy, as I was watching I ended up in tears. What his T told him was powerful and moving. Its as if the movie was speaking to me. I wanted to share that here. He said:

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

IT WASNT YOUR FAULT.

times too and i'm still not gonna believe it!

I deffinatly do love that movie

I love this movie. That said, I do not like watching this movie in the company of other people, because that very part in particular always makes me start crying. In fact it's the only movie that's ever made me cry. Is that odd?
