I am thinking about making a webpage with some info about my perp and his perp brother and asking other victims of them to react.

Have any of you suggestions?
Have any of you done this before or have seen done this before?

The only thing I would suggest is be careful. If the perp has not been legally convicted, they may have grounds to come back and sue you for defamation. While their grounds for a lawsuit would bring all of their acts in to the spot light, it might not be something you want to endure. Just one thing to consider and think about. I think there are ways that you can put things on a web page and protect yourself as well. Of course, I have named my perps on the web and could care less what they do to me. If they want to take me to court for something, I will gladly expose to the world what they did.

Just a thought and something to consider.

Mr. don's advice in the US particularly is very valid. I do not know about the Netherlands. the other thing to consider is if you are ready for the publicity. Don't do this if it would revictimize you.

The slience if awful, but you do not have to be a martyr to end it. Take care of yourself first and then look to the other issues.

Sounds like good advice. I'd be very careful naming your perp especially if it involves recovered memories. There are people out there like this https://faculty.washington.edu/eloftus/
who I believ are hired to appear in court to testify against persons making allegations of sexual abuse. It's a double whammy not being able to tell when it's happening. Years pass and you STILL can't tell. And in many cases the media won't publish the story even if the names of the offender and victim are deleted. It is thought to reflect poorly on the community. Especially by the smaller, local newspapers. They survive thru advertisers and such stories might offend the advertisers, lower property values. I'm dealing with this right now with our local newspaper.

I only want to ask other victims to react.

I think i will display just enough info for other victims to recognize him and too little info for others to say that i am accusing him in public. If i say i am struggling with memories about sexual abuse, i am just telling the truth about myself and he can't sue me at all. (Him defending himself in court is an interesting thought for me, though.)

Thanks for the feedback guys.
And additional info is still welcome.
