the consolation of philosophy

there have been so many things i have been writing about here -

the greatest consolation i have had has been to contemplate things -

when really - blurting out these ideas and telling them to you has been a wonderful gift too-
and maybe the more important thing -
not the 'realizations'
but you (friends)
offer 'firm ground to stand on'
here (a stabile counselor's couch, a home base - a safety net - you choose...)
and through the support
you gave me - i
have grown strong enough to protect myself
and see my ...self -
the person who i am proud to be -
