Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving
So its just a week until Thanksgiving here in the US. So in keeping of the holiday tradition, I will tell what Im thankful for.

1. Male Survivor and the friends I have here
2. The growth in my life that has happened in the year that Ive been coming here
3. My family
4. Friends
5. My little Chihuahua and her puppies

Thats just a start, the list could go on and on.

2. MS and the wonderful people I've met here
3. My sister
4. A local best friend
5. Being able to pay my bills
6. Walking away from a recent nasty car wreck

I'm with you Darrel, the list could keep me up late tonight.
 
1. Definitely this discussion board
2. Those who have the courage to correct me when I'm wrong.
3. My health
4. Good Friends
5. My nieces and nephews

Don't even get me started... LOL

Making it everyday

1. MS and the good friends I've made through here
2. the girl who has just entered my life who sees more in me than I can see in myself
3. having a job this year
4. living on my own for the first time in my life
 
1. Some measure of hope this year that I didn't have last year.
2. A place like MS where I can take off the mask.
3. After reading other's stories on this site, that my life could have been a hell of a lot worse.
4. That maybe, just maybe recovery is not only possible but attainable personally.

some people call it a gratitude list - it can balance the negative.
1 I am alive & somewhat rational.
2 I have friends who understand & vice versa
3 I am more trusting - with reservations
4 I am less judgemental of others
5 My humor is wacky as ever, I need to laugh at
life's absurd realities.
