I am thankful for:

So many people, so many things. I am blessed beyond imagination and I need to become more aware of this.

I'm thankful for all of the wonderful blessings that I have been given, and I am thankful that such amazing men would care about one another and help each other to understand and to heal....and that I had the good fortune to find them.

Bobby

I am thankful for Darrel starting this thread, for my wife, my beautiful daughter, the roof over our heads, the food on my table, for the strength to live my life my way, finally , for the support I get from family, for music that eases my mind and soul and, ultimately, for the true, pure, unconditional love I have been able to experience in life finally. Oh yeah...and beer.

I am thankful for everyone on this site that has responded to my queries, and am thankful for the compassion and concern of all here.

I am also thankful that, today, I find myself in a better mood than I had been in lately. It allows me to be silly for a moment: I am thankful not just for my children but, specifically, for the way my daughter screams when she does not get her way, for my nine year old's dyslexia, for it is a part of him and has made him the most concerned and polite child I have ever known, and for my stepson's strength and absolutely horrid sense of humor, which he got from me. I am thankful that, although I have the occasional problem connecting with reality, that I can still throw "Dodgeball" into the DVD player and giggle at Rip Torn throwing wrenches. I am thankful that my wife loves me and enjoys our time alone as much as I do. I am thankful for the timeless wonder of Silly Putty and the Slinky.

Most of all, I am thankful for distractions.

I am thankful for being alive.
I am thankful for MS
I am thankful for my family
I am thankful for my house
I am thankful for Nathan being the man he is today.

lots of love, Nathan

I am thankful for my waking up to the reality of my abuse. I no longer walk through my life with a cloth obscuring my sight.

I am thankful for the others who can understand what I say when they just listen. They provide a silent support which is so vital to my life.

I am thankful for my wife who has accepted the task of being married me and helping me slowly suck the life from my demons.

I am thankful I did not begin my journey later in my life than I did. I look forward to many years of truly living before I draw my last breath.
