I finally have a chance to thank you all for your responses on the "confession" subject. I have struggled with that issue for months and could never understand who should go to confession.
I have been getting interviewed all week by newspaper and TV reporters about my involvement with the new chapter I am starting SNAP Latino which is having its first ever meeting for spanish and english survivors of abuse by priest. I apologies for not responding sooner and reaching out to others about your subjects. I am a nervous wreck about this weekend and hope all goes well. I am sadden to hear of victims that are going to attend this meeting but, happy they are reaching out for help.
Again, THANK YOU ALL! this is one unbelievable group of people and website that from reading some of there subjects and seeing the response they get from you it's the greatest healing tool there is.

I am glad that you find this site as helpful as I do. Thank YOU, for working hard to help other survivors. I am involved in a charity at home to assist abused children, but nothing yet specific to sexual abuse, and nothing yet specific to male survivors. Perhaps sometime soon I will feel more comfortable to do that publically. But I commend you for your efforts you already do.
