Thank You Malesurvivor
Hi All
I just want to say a BIG thank you to all the staff and the moderators at Malesurvivor. I'm sure you don't have an issue with constructive critism, (I suppose the more challenging among us consider some of their critisism is contructive), but at times lately, this site is looking more like a battle field than a group for survivors to heal together.
I wonder if some of the more vocal critism could be directed by email to the board. I feel I'm pretty strong in my recovery (even if things are slightly shakey at the moment) and I'm beggining to feel stressed by the recent happenings on this site. Christ I wonder what more fragile/vulnerable contributors are feeling, or are they just leaving?
I wonder what the contibutors of this extreme critism are hoping to acheive. The falling by the way of those who need this site, or the closure of this site? How many among the more vocal are members? If you don't like what's happening here and want to make changes, join. Go along to an Annual General Meeting (I'm sure they must exist in the U.S.) get voted on to the board and make your changes. Failing that set up your own charity, then you will see how bloody hard it is. If you aren't prepared to do either of those, for Christ sake Shut-up and let those of us who want to support and be supported to do just that.
I will be joining as soon after xmas as I can. I am slightly concerned as it will be the first time I have used my master card to purcahse anything in U.S. dollars and am not sure how conversion is achieved.
Thanks again to all those who run, help out and contribute to malesurvivor.
