This morning I got caught up in SoCal_MArk's postings. I tried earnestly to help only to get a backlash of anger.

I am okay with that because I have been in that place of anger and understand what it is like. However, what happened this morning made me stop and think about this board. The more I thought about it the more I realized that this wonderful board had served its purpose in my life for now. For reasons I wont go into (for there are quite a few and in the end it doesn't matter to anyone but me)I have decided it is time to move on to another part of my healing journey. This is not goodbye so much as it is a so long for now.

This place is a wonderful portal and has really been important to get the healing process started. Thank you so much for giving it to me and asking nothing in return.

as have i. journey well, my friend. you are welcome back at any time, and i am happy for you that you are able to find a plateau in your recovery. i wish you well.
 
I think we all need a break here and there. I've done it, as have others. Good luck, and I hope to see you back again soon.

Thanks brother, for all that you've done here in helping yourself and others on our way to recovery. You're right, there are times when we do need a break. It's a good thing that you recognize that and have taken the steps to foster your own recovery. We're all on different roads and I know that what you're doing is right for you.

i am rather new here, just about a month or more. wish you the best, enjoy your break or wherever your healing journey takes you. i appreciate your posts that i have read and the insight you have given that has helped me and i am sure alnd fully aware of; others others on this site.
take care, be at peace, and hope to see you on again sometime in the future soon. in the meantime, we gotta do what we have to do so hang in there friend, we're here for you when you need us. guy
 
I think everyone has taken time away from here at some point. And I know that there have been great misunderstandings here, big and small. I am starting to feel that there is no right and wrong, only point of view.

I hope that you are not 'running' from here, or allowing one negative situation 'make' you leave. But if you are leaving to move on with things yourself, that is a good thing. And please know that you are always welcome to return, no matter how you are doing. I wish you well. Good luck on your journey.

I had something like a four week break, where I could barely respond...I'm still sort of zoning out, but I'm stepping up somewhere I haven't been for a long time....somewhere good! ....Rik
Take your time - it's prescious (used to be good at spelling).
