I talk with my uncle today over the phone and got lots of new info. He didnt seem too shocked when I told him about my issues with Great Uncle A. He told me that he was sure that Grand Dad and Mom didnt know anything about Great Uncle A abuse of me and my brother. He also told me that he wasnt abused as a child but he didnt know about my dad.
He will be talking about this with his sister who is a few years older than him. The most important thing for me is to know that my Grandparents had no knowledge about the abuse of Great Uncle A. It would have blown me away if they had known. How I can keep all my good memories of growing up with my grandparents being part of my life.
