I have not seen either of the films on purpose!
I have a HUGE problem with the idea that young boys are supposed to celebrate getting to have sex. It is like some rite of passage or something. Never does anyone talk about the ramifications of such actions or the fact that the adults are in fact ABUSING the young boys. It is always seen as some great accomplishment and presented as the goal of every teenage guy out there. I disagree with that assumption, wholeheatedly!
