Some of you who were here last year may remember Nyjah ("Demonboi" on this site). He was 13 (14 now), an avid rapper and poet, and determined to be the next world skateboard champion.

He has not been on the site since December of last year, and recently his father contacted me to tell me that Nyjah has been taken into a residential facility for kids - they have school classes, therapy, and help with other problems. Nyjah is there for problems with anorexia.

Being here helped him a lot and I think it would cheer him up to receive any greetings or good wishes you may want to send. Anyone who remembers him and wants to send any such thing, please just add your post here and I will collect the messages and pass them on to his father (who is also a survivor, by the way).

Hi Nyjah,

guess I never got to know you so well.
Larry told us you are hurting, and you havent been here for so long.

We do miss those who dont come here for a while.
All of us want you to get stronger and eat right, so OK, you promise me that, and you promise Larry and your Dad too.

Sometimes life aint too good, sometimes it stinks, but you are still a boy, and need to see that your life can get better, but you must trust that it can for sure.

I dont eat much myself, but not eating hurts yr body, and at least I eat enough to stay healthy.
So now, instead of feeling bad about yourself, there is a world out there waiting for just you.

You can get some of your dreams if you work on them, so dont think they cant ever happen.
I thought the same thing too, but life is what we can make it together.

None of us can be by yr bedside to help you to feel good, but we can wish you good wishes that you get strong, and get back to MS.

I will send you my best wishes, and think of you as you recover from this, so promise me and Larry and all of us, that you will do it,

Sometimes we see the sun go down at night and wonder if it will ever rise again!

It does! Maybe not the next day, but it will appear shining over the horizon.

Sometimes it appears to rain forever, and we think the sun is lost!

There is only so long that the sky can cry, before the sun appears shining through.

Larry says you dreamed of surfing the boards, so come on - you can be a hero too!

Hi Nyjah, hurry back! you are missing all the tall tales. Oh yea, I got me a dog now! He went with me to visit the place I was raped at, and he wasn't scared at all. His name is Buddy, but I call him big bad Buddy.

Hi, Nyjah, you may not remember me, but I sure remember you and your posts here. You always gave me new insights and so much to think about. You don't have to be writing here for us to be with you and care about how you are. We do and we always will. Bobby

I'm sorry I never had a chance to talk with you Nyjah. We all have our battles to fight and you're fighting yours right now, please know that you have many good people thinking of you and wishing that you come back here soon and let us know how you're doing!
