There are many things from my childhood I don't remember and it would probably need an old school friend to retell such events for me to remember. That would be because such things had no real impact on me.

What happened to you clearly left such an impact otherwise you would not be recalling it and your present day actions would not have linked back to that event.

The lines are important. There is a reason sex of any kind with a child is taboo. Fondling is not an innocent thing to be shrugged off. That "simple" gesture was packed with so much:

He used you to gratify himself. A situation you weren't capable of grasping. Just because you couldn't understand the implications does me it didn't affect you. You were now an object to be used. What was this strange thing he was after.

And now this thing that wasn't a "big deal" got him dismissed! How confusing was that? I'm sorry you felt badly for that. It's great action was taken! BUT someone needed to talk to you about why, and to attend to you.

How could you not grow up thinking all of it was dirty?
