support group or website?

support group or website?
Does anyone know of a support group/website for partners of survivors? My wife could really use one. MS is a bit too close to home and I have asked her to let this be my space so that I can freely write/vent/fear without fear that she will read it. It is also simply too overwhelming for her to read much of this stuff. She has been great but needs some support from other spouses.

I can't vouch for how helpful these will be to your wife, but, here are a couple that I was able to find:

https://www.sandf.org/forum/index.php (Survivors and Friends)

https://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/positivepartnersofsurvivors/

https://www.pasac.net/frames.html (partners of adults sexually abused as children) (This site was established by a woman who is the partner of a male survivor)

https://www.nextstepcounseling.org/resources2.htm
(this is part of Mike Lew's website and lists resources from around the world...most are for the survivor, but there are some that are applicable to partners as well.)

Hope this helps!

Hi Paul,

I think it is great that the two of you are setting up safe places for each to get support, and if MS is "your" place I wouldn't try and convince you to change your mind.

But just so you know, even if your wife decides to join here as a full member, the Members side Survivors board would not be accessible to her (just as the Members side F&F board would not be accessible to you). Part of why it was set up that way was to offer a safe place for couples if they chose.
