Struggle with Self care

I struggle with this.
Anyone else?

Don't care what I look like.
Tough to keep myself together.
How can self care be so difficult

Sometimes I don't struggle with that but most times I do and the fact that I can't really see my reflection on mirrors doesn't help. My hair is usually a total mess unless I have to work, and I basically wear the same clothes every other day. Don't ask if I take showers often as I may have to lie ...

Choosing love, making one's moment-to-moment-decisions-concerning-the-self with love, is the ultimate act of a free, independent individual.

Same as true freedom is not given, it is always taken (per Dr. MLK), so is self-love.
