Stringless

With a fiddler’s story to be strummed
I hold tight the violin beneath my chin
And with a tempo and tune conceived
I violently rock the bow to and fro

However, with the pegs and tuners unstrung
No matter how passionately or personally I thrum
The audience ear cannot possibly hear
As my stringless Stratovarius is mum

Fantastic piece! I hear you.

Thank you AlexBoyd, for both listening and "hearing" what feels so often unheard.

Those last two lines...
As Alex said, I hear you.

Thanks Darren White, it is warming comforting to be heard. I'll lesson as well.

Fantastic Darren! Heard loud and clear! I see what you write, I admire what you write, I feel what you write. Now, if I could only write like you write!

Hello Rick K, I'm not sure if you were answering my poem or something Darren had said or written in the past. Either way I or Darren appreciates your support. :)

I’m sorry earlybird! I was responding to the poem YOU wrote. I admire the abilities of many of the writers that post here, and I misidentified the author as Darren. Thank you for sharing and again, I apologize for not catching my error! You're another writer I admire!

No problem @Rick K , easy mistake. Thank you for finding value in my poems and the poems of others. I know I find inspiration in other survivors words.
