Still looking For Help In Ulster County, NY
I'm still looking for help in Ulster County, Mid-Hudson Valley Area in New York State...
Further to my last e-mail posting some time ago I've been hanging on, but am steadily getting worse...Last winter things got really bad....I lost my apartment and was basically homeless for three months...
I now have a job at a alcohol and drug rehab which gives me health insurance....It's really very difficult hold on to the job, alot of the staff are very "unrecovered" and abusive and it is a really unsafe place... but I need the money and the health insurance....
I really need help ASAP.
I lost my old apartment in Woodstock due to cluttering...depression, unemployment...
and my paralysis, I've since moved to Kingston, but the paralasis and clutterng came with me has kept me from moving forward with my life...I've been here 6 months and I still can't seem to get my life started again....
I'm almost 25 years sober in AA and am also in OA and DA; My sobriety is in pretty good shape, but I'm realy struggling with the food and the money.
I've been trying to lose weight I'm down from 300lbs... I now weigh in at 240lbs. hoping to make it to 180...I'm going through a lot of feelings...
My income and employment has always been marginal...
I've finally got a girl friend, the first in over 10 years...but am experiencing a lot of emotional stuff and partial impotence when we try to have sex. She is a really beautiful fine woman and I don't want to lose her...
I really need help...
I've been trying to find a 12 Step group (Incest Survivors Anonymous etc..) or other kinds of help in my area, and I might as well be in Siberia....
Anyone out there who has some suggestions, please let me know...
