Stepping out for the first time

Brothers,

Tonight I am taking what is a HUGE step for me. I am going to my first survivors group (ISA).

Scares me to death to actually be doing this, but I think I'm ready for it.

Because of the support I have found here, I know that seeing other survivors face to face is going to be easier than it would have been had I not come here first.

If I don't come back, somebody send the MS Posse after me. :D

I'm so proud of you for taking this huge step. I think you'll be really glad you did. In a way, I'm kind of looking forward to getting to that phase, to actually look other survivors in the face and see that they look just like me. They've always been out there, feeling the same kind of hurts that I have.

This is a great thing. I hope it will be good for you. I know it will be good for the people you meet. Talking face to face with survivors, people you know understand what I mean, has been a great experience for me.
