sarah talkd to my stepfathr.
he told her that i shouldnt be
complaining cuz i had a house an
food and clothes. he said that his
father punishd him the same way
when he fucked up. with his belt
and beating him up alot and that
he turnd out fine. said he dont
know what im bitching about that me
and eric got the same treatment and
erics fine with it to.
so sarah askd me what i thot about
that and i told her he could go
fuck himself cuz he beat me for NO
reasn NO reasn at all!
and eric got evrything and i
got nothing and im not even his real
kid so he just treeted me like shit
and nevr had anything nice to say to
me and i had to do evrything and eric
didn't hafto to nothing and him and
eric gangd up on me yelling and hitting
and i told her if it was just her fathr
that was a prick to me it would be one
thing but it was him being a prick
plus eric and his friends to so
i was like stuck in the middle
she said she beleves me and she said
sorry it was so bad. then she
wanted to give me a hug but i pushd
her and said ur father is an asshole
and i went outside
so hes acting like just cuz he got
treeted bad that it makes it ok for him
to treat me bad? i dont FUCKING think so

Nothing excuses the way you were treated, and you were right to explain it all to Sarah as you did. This is what she needs to know.

I notice here that you pushed Sarah away when she wanted to give you a hug. She loves you a lot bro. Maybe it would be cool to get a hug from someone who means it?

Okay. If that's how you feel right now then that's how you should leave things for the moment. Don't try to take on things you aren't ready for yet.

But let me tell you: we ALL need hugs, and there are LOTS of people who give safe hugs and they DO mean then as that - safe hugs - and nothing more.

Surfdude ....... you sound so cool. Those who split were shallow. Real friends don't just hug, they hold; hold on real tight for as long as you need. No judgements, no inane platitudes. just being there and holding and listening.

And remember that your stepfather may have dragged out the old cliche about what was done to him and he's turned out ok - well NO, he hasn't turned out ok. You have a right to be angry - go with your bro-in-law and let him instal his punch-bag in the basement and then go hit it real hard
