Let us hope all States adopt such policies. The shroud of secrecy needs to be lifted and survivors deserve their day. I know many will not come forward and the more that do will show the severity of the problem. Institutions and individuals will no longer be able to falsely deny these atrocities.
I know the State of my abuse has been fighting a change. The Church and other institutions pour money into the lobbying groups. If neighboring state of NY adopts, maybe hope for CT.

NY is on the way to do it, u will have a one year window to sue the abuser or institution, I will have to look way back to mid 60s see where I was in foster home perps are prob dead by now as im 60 i'll look into suing the state or county govt agency that put me in that horror house, BB
