I feel most spiritually uplifted just taking a walk on a nice day -- walking by a small lake near my home- stopping to look at the water-try to quite my busy mind- appreciating my life and how lucky I am to be alive & free, that I survived my troubled past, grateful for my life-partner & for food, clothing & shelter... I really & truly want for nothing if I'm really honest about it.. I'm trying to pray more & give thanks to my Higher Power too.
My favorite inspiring pieces of music:
A Love Supreme-- by John Coltrane
Confronting Our Fears--by yaya3
The Spirit Lives On --by yaya3
The Pond -- by Charles Ives
9th Symphony: Adagio -- Gustav Mahler
5th Symphony; adagietto-- Gustav Mahler

That's beautiful Tom.
It caught my eye because I have my own ... somewhat irreverent version. If you want to take a look it's called
"Spirituality"
:)

Thank you, Tom. That is a truly beautiful sentiment. I suspect we are not very dissimilar in finding that the natural beauty outside of us takes us inside of us.

I'm a very secular person as I suspect most self-described "spiritual" people are ;) . My work sees me spending a lot of time with animals. Sometimes, when my eyes lock with theirs - and we each find ourselves staring into the black pools of each others eyes - everything stops. It hits me that we are both staring into whole universes we can only imagine. Deep inside that darkness is an entire world - pain, fear, love, surrender, happiness - and, in staring back, that world regards me, beholds me. While I joke that I am not a "religious" person, I have come to realize that is my religion - in every sense, those are the halls of my temple. I step lightly into it, full of respect and awe - and get so wonderfully lost.

I LOVE spirituality , thanks Tom.
I should spend more time reading past posts in this forum.
Thanks again, everyone.
