I would say let's wait and see how this develops. If a defendent can prove he was in another country when he allegedly abused a kid in London, that is pretty much guaranteed to trigger a review, at least to verify the extent of the problem.

My fear in all this is how influential King still is and whether he has the ability to pull strings and get documents and testimony fabricated to cook up alibis for himself.

In my mind King is guilty and that's it. There were men who stepped forward and testified that he abused them as teenagers. What more evidence is required?
