Silly major accomplishment

I don't have a green thumb so my appreciation comes first for the fact you do... then for the reality you are now free to take action on your own behalf, planting when and where you wish. That is a major accomplishment that all of us caught by the past aspire toward, whether flowers are involved or not. Of course, since I'm still grieving what has been lost in my evolving relationship with the person I thought I'd share the rest of my life with, I'm touched here by what we no longer share more than by what has been challenging in that relationship. So grieving is paired with taking affirmative action. What a challenging journey this healing can be... You did well and definitely inspire all of us.

very beautiful!

these are Virginia Spiderwort. They were here when we moved in. perennials. bloom every spring and if mild, in the fall.

Thanks NC. I still get no drop down clicking on the photo on my phone... I’ll have to try from the puter tomorrow.

It feels SOOOO good to see them bloom instead of die unplanted!

I LOVE SPIDERWORT! Had it at the marital home but after I finally got the house back I sold it and did not take any of my plants. - maybe another reAson this feels like such a big accomplishment no matter how silly
