I got signed up for group therapy yesterday the people were real nice but I cried and shook through the sign up process. i don't think this vistaril stuff is working yet maybe it takes a few weeks i got stopped for my driving on the way back i think i'm gonna need to get someone else to drive me. sorry about WOZ. it coulda been me sometimes.

group work ain't easy, I go every week and it's f*****g hard !
But it's so good, and I wouldn't have it any other way now.

I drive home in tears as well, and I give another local guy a lift, so we cry together.

But we also smile and laugh a lot as well.

MrEdd, I am with you bud. It took me 30 years and loosing the love of a great women for me to seek therapy. That you have sought help and have someone who loves you is reason to rejoice.
I go to a great lady for therapy (she is a "feelings lady"), I can't even imagine doing therapy with a group. You are very brave!
If your meds are not working, tell your Dr. There are very very good meds out now, you should not suffer OR be a zombie. Again if you are not happy with your meds tell your Dr. The proper meds and dose can help you get started on all of this until you can find your peace on you own.
