sharing victories

Something happened today and I need to share this with you MS people because you have been very important to me on my personal path of healing.

Today I finally looked at my brother in the eye and asked him about the abuse that went on when I was 4-5. I am now 35 and he is 42. He was shocked at first but then a very sincere conversation went on, I learned that he had been molested by our older brother for years and to make a long story short in the end he hugged me and apologized.

I feel this is a milestone in my life and wanted to share this with you.

It certainly sounds like a tremendous moment. It would have been terrible if this issue had continued to stand between you two when it turns out you were both victims. I am so happy for you.
