better? better than what? thanks it means a lot shadow

Better than anything that comes your way. That what it means. Our pain has made us elite. I hate to say it but politics are failing us. These perps are being allowed to slip through the cracks of the law. I saw a clip on TV where a perp threatened the life of someone that works for an agency that exposes perps to the police (address locations etc..). The courts wanted to let the guy off as if his actions were justified. After the perps actions, I feel he needs to be revealed to neighbors. I've realized that it is up to us to fight this. Our country is faltering in this issue and is letting this go on. So who is willing to speak out and deal with these issues. Do you guys know anyone? NAMBLA is trying to justify this garbage. What do you think?

Much love,
Jason

Endless I am not singling you out for this so please forgive me, but I totally disagree with you. The authorities are not faltering on the issue. The problem is getting the word out that they are succeeding.

We are Malesurvivor members so I throw down the glove. Malesurvivor, you are the voice. Let's hear some of the good news for a change. I want to hear some stories about how perps are being stopped, how people are recovering, and how everyone is just getting on with their lives.

And I challenge the Malesurvivor administration and Board to raise their voices too. We don't hear enough from you guys about the good stuff and it's high time we did. We have thrown our hats in your ring, so please show us what it is we have gotten behind.

More good news, please.

I'll add a positive note. I just started reading
Victims No Longer by Mike Lew and it has been an amazing help to me. Although I have a long way to go to get out of this shit hole, the book offers an incredible amount of hope. If you haven't read it, READ IT.

Geez. I remember reading "Abused Boys" by Mic Hunter when it first came out in 92' or 93'. It didn't help me. Maybe this will be different?

It might be, Hauser. VNM is a tough book to read, but there is wisdom there.

Abused boys focuses too much on actual abuse, and no relation to what happened to me.
Mic Hunters book is one I am after.

BTW, we all need to do our little bit to spread teh word, I do, and so do others in the UK,

sometimes good news is not in the form of happy posts saying im all better, there was a member here that was activly pursuing perps by finding their websites and reporting them causing them to be shut down, to me that was great news in more than one way, not only did it expose sites like boy chat and nambla ,but it also showed that we dont have to be meek and mild victims forever that we can fight back against the sick people who are proud to call themselves boylovers. strangly enough this person was asked to leave the site maybe for other reasons but if we wait for the proper authorities to act nothing ever gets done. his name was japan zen and he had the courage to speak out even if it cost him something very dear to him . thats the kind of news that gives me hope .
