Sexual Disorientation

Hi LoneWolf
I have never known my sexuality I have identified as gay, straight and bi. It is so confusing. Got to me in the 90's I came away with touch issues and attempts to have sex have ended in panic attacks. So I don't go there any more even though I would like to . I barely let anyone touch me at all but Doctors and medical staff. I was being sexually abused before five and that has influence everything I think. Not sure which way things will go and I am 63 years old and scared to be intimate.

LoneWolf...I have a thought that someone's sexuallity can be seen as on a sliding scale. With straight being on one side, bi in the middle and gay on the other end. Where you belong on that scale only you can answer. Just a thought.

much love

I agree totally with Greg. We can talk more PM. I’ve tried both. For me I was running from the pain just trying to numb the pain. I’m a believer of what’s in your heart your true self.

The Kinsey scale, also called the Heterosexual–Homosexual Rating Scale, is used in research to describe a person's sexual orientation based on their experience or response at a given time. The scale typically ranges from 0, meaning exclusively heterosexual, to 6, meaning exclusively homosexual. In both the male and female volumes of the Kinsey Reports, an additional grade, listed as "X", was used to mean "no socio-sexual contacts or reactions".
