You have my support. I know that whatever comes of it, you will come out the better for having dealt with it. Every time you/we step up to bat to face the fast balls and the sneaky slow balls being thrown at us, we have already won because we got ourselves up off the bench as a victim/spectator and acted as a player in our own healing.
(God, I can't believe I just wrote a sports analogy, my first)
Anyway, go get em guy, we, your teammates are with you all the way.

Thanks everyone for all your support. I think there is some confustion though. There is a meeting of the leaders of the church Monday night .... but as of today I have not heard that my case is on the docket for presentation. I have told my attorney that when it does get on the docket I want him there with me to support me and to make sure I don't lose my temper with these hypocrits. Thanks to all of the wonder guys that have responded to my posts I know of 4 other cases of Presbyterian S A and I know that the church has tried to cover up all the cases telling the victims that the church has no responsibility. ( the Presbyterian form of government is F***ed up big time ) But thanks for your support anyway. I need it. It may be that we ( my attorney and I ) are on the docket Monday night and they will not inform us until Monday ... another ploy that they will use ..... saying that I never showed for the meeting. I am not going to let this go. I hope I can say that I am not just doing this for myself ... but for every survivor. It is my hope that no person will ever have to face what we have.

I have not been in chat for a while so I am not up to "speed" as some say.
Thank you for speaking out. All churches need a clear policy on abuse by any person employed by the church. Churches are so afraid of huge money settlements that they are not ministering to people.
You have passion about this John. I know you will keep at it. Even if they do not give you any satisfaction I am willing to bet that they will set up a policy for the future that will protect kids.
