Secrets Homosexuals Don't Want You To Know!
I have a lot of stuff to throw away if I want to remain straight.....
Geez, Louise! I think it may be too late for that. :D

BTW, flannel is so 70's retro Castro chic!

Remember that song...."Send in the clones, there's got to be clones..."

Well, honey, that song was invented for all those identical men in their identical 501's with their identical plaid flannel shirts. And a hanky in the back pocket that had a meaning all its own.

And me? Well, let's just say that I got through the 70's wearing enough polyester to melt the planet. Then again, polyester was Polk Street. Flannel was Castro. And my lover thought it was all one big buffet where it was all you can eat. Ooops! Well, I didn't mean it that way!!! Besides, that was my lover before Andy. We were together for 7 years and then he forgot to come home one night. Hey...it happens.

Oh...and you'll never guess what his name was, Larry?

Yes, it was Larry, Larry!!!

TTFN, Dah-lings!

Jasper,

It wasn't me, I swear it wasn't me! I don't even know that Castro and Polk are streets in SF!!! I swear I don't.

Hmmmmm. I remember getting the talk about the hanky before my gay friend Warren took me to see "his" NYC in '80, but I forget what the codes were. Damn! Why didn't I write those down? I am ALWAYS forgetting important things!

Okay okay, so I offload all my Barbra, Liza, & Judy records, and I forget that I know what TTFN means...safe so far.

But I REFUSE to give up Cher as my role model!! There I draw the line!

Larry (in SF in '69, but too fried to frolic)

Yah know... for a big old Bear who was *constantly* getting propositioned by guys who wanted me to do to them what I wanted them to do to me (and I'm exclusive that way), I really liked the hanky code - prevented *lots* of disappointment ! ;)

Navy-Blue, Right

I remember when the navy sent out this message to all the commands to be on the lookout for sailors with hanky's sticking out of their pockets. One of the radiomen saw the message and let the word out. The next day all the enlisted guys, except for me had red hanky's with white dots hanging out of their pockets! The command had a shit-fit!
