People hate there scars.
Scars are ugly and never appealing.
They show something that happened in the past.
It shows they have healed from it.
But they do remember the incident in which caused there scar.
There body did its job. It healed the wound.
What happens when are scars are on the inside? The wound is on the inside.
How do we go about healing? When something isn't physically shown on the outside.
Scars no one else can see but us?
Scars that leave us damaged.
Scars that truly never heal.
Scars that WE must heal.
Scars that are not physical.
Scars that are EMOTIONAL.
Scars the only we feel.
These scars on the inside will never heal.
I feel as though we just have to accept them.
Not forget about them.
Cause these scars will make us remember them.
We just have to learn to live with them.

[font:Fixedsys]the mortal wounds
from all the wars
turned into scabs
turned into scars

the marks reveal
serious injuries
but they conceal
painful memories

Life's sorrows always leave a mark. Woven of the same resilient fibers, scars blend with the broken, and signify a life rearranged and repaired; only death stays their formation. A scar is a badge of honor. That puckered, polished skin is your keepsake from the conflict - a landmark on the landscape of your soul. Reminders of both wound and healing, scars are your proof of life.
