My dear brothers of Male Survivor,

It is time for me to move on. I have already sent letters to our president, Murray and to Ken informing them of my decision to withdraw from my activities and responsibilities here.

I just want to tell you how much I have appreciated your company, counsel and friendship.
Never before in my life, have I ever found such caring, loving men. Thank you so very much for all that you do here, for all that you've done for me. I will remember you all as having been most helpful in my recovery.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

David

Thank you for helping to save my life.

I hope you'll be here as you'll always be family. I'll want to be in touch always, so please hang out from time to time.

Thank you, my brother.

Gosh David, I don't know what to say. Hope you don't mind if I cry a little bit here. You have been a good friend in the short time I've known you.

I wish you the best wherever your life leads you from this point on.

Thank you so much for being here and the support you've given. I find I have no words to express my gratitude.

I understand the need to make decisions for change. You have my support in that decision.

Like Scott said, Don't be a complete stranger. Drop in from time to time. We'd love to see you and you'd most certainly be welcome.

Love you Bro,

John

David,

Your post stuns me. There are some guys that are just such a PART of things here that one just doesn't think that it may end.

I want to thank you so much for everything you have contributed here. Speaking personally, I have benefitted in so many ways. Sometimes even just a word from you has made me rethink or see things in a new way.

I wish you all the best in your onward journey.

Much love,
Larry

David,
You have been a huge resource and friend to so many of us here. I will be sad to see you leave and hope that you will stay in touch. Peace, Andrew

David,
Like everyone else here, I'm sad to see you go. You were the first to welcome me here. Your guidance and support were such a comfort to me.

May God bless you on your path. He has blessed me by guiding me across your path!

David,

Sorry to hear you're leaving. You have been so helpful, and encouraging. Thanks for understanding. Good luck in the future.

David - I want to thank you for your even-handedness and levelheadedness. You've been helpful to me and so many others here. Like the others, I hope to see you around.

I'd also like to point out that I see your departure as a message of hope, that we do move on, that there is more to life than being a survivor, that we will reach a point in our recovery that we will venture to new places, literally and figuratively. I wish you peace - John

David,

You and Joe, you were first persons here I contact with. I am sorry that you feel it is need to leave, but I guess, it is something we do not need to be here forever. I hope you will keep to healing and being safe. And I hope you will remain a friend to me. Thank you, for all you have help me.

Andrei

David,

Thanks for giving of your time, love, friendship, insight and deep caring at this site. I haven't been able to get to know you but I can read who you are and appreciate who you are. Even though you may not be a part of this forum any longer, I am sure you will be a great inspiration to a lot of people you will be able to lead through and sort through "stuff" in the future.

Sincerely,
Rivers

David
We will miss you, more than you'll ever know.

You offer support, help and advice with such openness and friendship. The way you make new guys welcome is awsome.

I hope that you're leaving for your benefit, and I wish you good luck in whatever comes your way.

Thanks for everything you've done David, it is appreciated.

Take care friend.

Dave

David,

Are you stepping away from your responsibilities on the board or are you stepping away from your time on the board?

We each have an individual path to follow. I am glad that our paths have crossed, here and in real life. I count you among my friends. Please stay in touch.

Your Eastern bro,

Joe

THIS IS OUR FAREWELL SONG

Fly away boy,
fly away!

Follow your star boy,
fly away!

Take care boy
fly away!
Farewell,
may our blessings
always travel with you.

Just as friends
who are always
a heart beat away
from you.

One day,
may you realize,
that you can fly away
but can never
really go.
For, the things
that are close to you
always go with you.

Go fly away, my friend!
Fly away, and Farewell...
