The aniversery of my rape was the last day of Sep. so I tryed to stay busy doing any thing that would keep my mind off of that . The eves of my house needed painting , so I thought that I would get the ladder and paint them . well I found out that I can not fly at all . I fell
16 feet on to a flag stone walk way and landed on my left side . Friday the 13th I have to go to the VA.Hospital in Oklahoma City . for surgery on my left arm . because I broke it in 7 places . I guess that finding something to keep my mind off of my rape was a good idea . but next time i will try and find something closer to the ground I GUESS THAT MY BAD LUCK FOR FRIDAY THE 13TH CAME EARLY .

Ya, I know the theory of staying busy on days we might be reminded of something for which we don't want to be reminded. And then you do something totally worthwhile and you take a fall; makes you wonder if there is any justice in this world, eh?...my Canadian accent coming through.

Yes, I think the idea of keeping busy was a good idea, but you are probably right - something closer to the ground next time. ;)

Went to OKC they told me to return on 10/18/06
because I am going to need a metal plate and screws put in my wrist . Guess that I'll not be on any ladders for a couple of months
