*Triggers Possible* Reporting My Ex

I won't attach any screenshots obviously but I'm in the process of gathering info for a report. Along with the irl abuse my ex also groomed me online, mainly over Pinterest, Facetime and Google Docs, the latter of which I can't report because I deleted all the documents. And I didn't think to record any of the Facetime calls but I also wasn't aware I was in danger, thanks to the grooming and DID.

We didn't send any nude pictures of each other but they did send pins of adult products directed at me, talk to me using explicit language and roleplay sexual scenarios with me. This was over several years before they moved onto another account, which I can't share because that one uses their real name as a username. I only have screenshots from the first one, but deleted my own account a few months ago so I can't access the older messages now. Which is for the best, but it makes getting evidence hard. I'm hoping it's taken seriously and that both of their accounts are removed, I am worried about getting law enforcement involved since their real name is available on the second account though. I'll update this thread if anything changes. (Edit: Kept messing up the spoiler formatting).

I don't know how long a site like Pinterest keeps backups as I'm sure that law enforcement is always asking them for evidence for other investigations.

I am worried about getting law enforcement involved since their real name is available on the second account though.

Why, If they're doing something wrong or illegal they should be investigated by law enforcement unless it puts you in danger.

Nothing’s happened since then, no. I wasn’t as mentally ready to confront that part of my past as I thought I was, so I’ve left it alone. Eventually I might try again. I know they still use both accounts, I just hope they’re not hurting anyone else.

I wasn’t medicated yet and was convinced that if I managed to get law enforcement involved, that the Pinterest staff would tell the police to show up at my house and bring me back to my ex. I had this whole conspiracy that they were all working together.

I understand that this was your perception, but are there any domestic violence resources near you? They can still help and advocate for you.

There are, but I’m not whether to utilize them or not since I may be moving abroad soon. I don’t know if it’d be worth getting wrapped up in that only to leave.

I do have some good news! I found a document from 2022 in my Google Drive and reported it for sexually explicit content. It was with their main email address that also uses their legal name as the username. I never realized reporting it was an option, I just deleted everything instead. I hope this does something.
